"A Framework & Toolkit for Live Music Performance in the AlloSphere" presents a comprehensive system for enabling popular music performance in the AlloSphere, UC Santa Barbara's immersive audio-visual research environment. The framework provides tools for spatial audio rendering, real-time performance control, and collaborative music making in this unique spherical space.
"Closing the Gap Between Open-Source and Proprietary Amplifier Modeling" documents my senior project as an undergraduate at UC Santa Barbara. It explores the ways in which open-source amplifier modeling has achieved sonic parity with proprietary implementations, but suffers from a lack of support on embedded systems- an ideal form factor for guitarists.
"Concise Fundamentals of Audio" is intended as a brief guide to better understanding sound, signal and music. Its language is intended to enfranchise even the least technically-inclined reader without sacrificing a comprehensive review.
"The Sound of Om" documents personal research and experimentation regarding the psychoacoustics of Om, a sacred mantra whose ancient origins have given way to worldwide recognition.
